My journey into health and wellbeing began in 2005, when at just 15 years old I suffered a traumatic horse riding accident. I tore the ligaments in my neck and was left with severe whiplash. Although I was incredibly fortunate not to have broken any bones, the accident marked the start of chronic pain and countless hospital visits.

After years of pushing for answers, 13 years later I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Functional Neurological Disorder, Hypermobility, and PoTS (Postural Tachycardia Syndrome).

A pivotal moment came only weeks after my accident, when a dear family friend offered me a Reiki treatment. At the time, I had no idea what Reiki was — but the experience left me deeply moved. The sensation of heat and release in my neck was unlike anything I had ever felt. That single session sparked my lifelong passion for holistic and alternative health.

Around the same time, my young horse, Ed, was showing signs of trauma and behavioural challenges from past mistreatment. I began exploring aromatherapy with him, offering essential oils, and was amazed by the profound difference it made. This was the beginning of my journey into studying natural healing and the power of plants.

Alongside these physical challenges, anxiety had already taken root during my school years. I never felt like I fit into the traditional classroom — I was a creative, and the system wasn’t designed for me. A late diagnosis of dyslexia and ADHD later explained those struggles. Combined with experiences of bullying, my teenage years often left me feeling anxious and disconnected. Looking back, I see these moments as the seeds of resilience and empathy that led me to the holistic path I walk today.

Over the years, I have trained extensively: Sports Massage, Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy & Labour Massage, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, and Functional Mobility. I spent six weeks in India studying as an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist, where the philosophy of treating the whole individual — body, mind, lifestyle, and environment — resonated deeply. Ayurveda taught me that what heals one person may harm another, and that true wellbeing lies in finding balance.

Yoga also became a central part of my healing. What began as a tool to ease pain and anxiety soon grew into a way of life. After five years of practice, I trained at the Suryalila Retreat Centre in Spain, completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Frog Lotus. Yoga has given me mindfulness, presence, and a deeper awareness of the body.

Leaving the corporate world behind after being signed off with PTSD was a turning point. In 2019, I quit the 9–5 to dedicate myself fully to supporting others. Today, I bring together my training in yoga, coaching, massage, energy work, and holistic therapies, alongside my lived experience of chronic illness, anxiety, and recovery.

My approach is gentle, empathetic, and empowering — because I know what it’s like to feel anxious, overwhelmed, or in pain. And I also know what it’s like to find balance, healing, and strength on the other side.
